Soy candles have been a hobby and even a business (for a while) of mine for some time. Obviously there are health reasons to choose soy wax over paraffin, however soy wax, in my opinion, is much easier to work with as well. It can be easily melted in the microwave, and it doesn't tend to shrink as bad as paraffin based wax. Soy candles release easily from molds with a little cool air and you aren't limited to soy candle containers any more as new higher melt soy waxes are available. If you haven't made soy wax pillar or taper candles, give them a try!
Anyway... enjoy the the Soy Wax Candle forum... and if you have any questions, please let me know!
